On the way there is time for an avalanche transceiver/safety briefing. (Distance: 8.2 km, walking time: 5-6 h, ascent / descent: 1150 metres / up to 700 metres)

Day 2

Through the high alpine scenery, we cross the Wittenwasseren Pass at 2806 metres to the Passo di Rotondo. Now the skins are stowed in the rucksack. This is followed by an impressive descent to Alpe di Rotondo. You reach the Capanna Corno Gries via Alpe di Manió and Curina. (Distance: 14.4 km, walking time: 6 h, ascent/descent: 1220 metres)

Day 3

Today, the queen's stage of the tour awaits you. You climb over the imposing Gries Glacier up to the Blinnenhorn 3373 m, first on touring skis and then on foot over the southern flank. A wonderful panorama with views of the Bernese and Valais Alps awaits you at the summit. You then ski down to the Rifugio Claudio e Bruno, where you can round off the evening with a cosy get-together and delicious pasta. (Distance: 10.9 km, walking time: 4-5 h, ascent / descent: 1170 m / 700 m)

Day 4

After climbing the Hohsandhorn at 3182 m, a rewarding and extra-long descent through the wild Binntal valley awaits you until you reach your destination, Fäld in Valais. (Distance: 14.4 km, walking time: 3 h, ascent / descent: 580 m / 1500 m)
