Course: Refresher avalanche training for ski tourers & splitboarders (level 4)

Your last tour in the snow was a few months ago and the avalanche bulletin has only recently been published again. Take part in this course so that you are up to date for the new season and the topic of avalanches is more present again. This course is exclusively for experienced ski tourers and splitboarders. You will also have the opportunity to test the new Barryvox S2!

Repetition in the terrain of the various topics relating to avalanches:

Tour preparation with hazard map
Snowpack structure
Deep burials
Rescue procedures

Aim of the course

You will refresh your knowledge of avalanche issues and be able to use it routinely on your tours.

Program

Welcome at the meeting point. Our qualified mountain guide will tell you where to go for the course. Depending on the conditions, this could be the Gemsstock, the Urseren Valley or the Oberalppas. Together you go to the area and start the refresher course. From theory to practical exercises, everything is included and at the end of the day you will be up to date and ready for the ski touring season.
